GreenWay Herbal Products was founded in 2016 after a grant to Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and the Tennessee Center for Botanical Medicine Research (TCBMR). A few years later in 2019 GreenWay Herbal Products filed a patent application for Cannabinoid compositions and methods of using and launched Tanasi, LLC. Then in 2021, fueled by the innovation and the talented graduating minds of the University relationship, GreenWay Herbal Products began the process of building Tennessee’s first Hemp focused tissue culture lab in Nashville TN.
